Loved watching this series with you guys. It's been a hell of a journey. Can't wait for House of the Dragon! A couple of other TV series I think you guys would love and should check out are 'Foundation' (a futuristic sci-fi TV show on Apple TV), which is the most visually stunning TV show ever made, 'Vikings' (a historical drama about Vikings in the 10th/11th century), which is incredible. And finally, 'Rome' on HBO, which is, in my opinion, the best show ever made. It's only 2 seasons and is very reminiscent of GOT and so entertaining. Love you guys!

All Daenerys had to do was accept the surrender. Or all the writers had to have her do. Destroying the city was pointless. She didn't have a plan of dividing the kingdom up again. This all just seemed so weak to me. Really, Jon is fire and ice by himself, since he is the coming together of Targaryen and Stark. I think Tyrion's adaptation of the "First they came for" speech rewritten for slavers was so cringe-inducing. But Jaime is the part that really annoys me, because people buy into all the stuff Cersei says about the two of them having to be together and that's just the language of dysfunction that Jaime was growing away from. I wish GRRM would finish the books, but at least I have fanfiction. :)

There are a lot of interesting videos out there, for example you could react to some videos from "Alt Shift X" he does great videos from book events that we don't get to see in both series like the "blackfyre rebellion" or the "Robert rebellion", also you get to know more the geography of this world in Essos or the Sunset Sea (west of Westeros).

I read the book a few years before the film was made. Frank Darabont did a great job. Mister Jingles was given life a one of God's innocent creatures. Melinda was not directly connected to John Coffey. John healed Paul. Paul could not extend the life of others.

Bran’s whole storyline is leading to this moment. That is why the raven came to him so early in the story, as chaos came over the seven kingdoms. I would have never guessed it, but it all made perfect sense in the end. All-knowing, without ego, without cruelty. No one’s favorite character, but likely the only king who can make the seven kingdoms a better place.

Del did a horrible thing, however, he did feel remorseful because he questioned what his life would have been like if Paul, Brutal, and the other guards were in his life before he turned to a life of crime. Unfortunately, he needed to face his punishment.

It has been amazing watching yall react to GoT... yall went above and beyond to understand and appreciate every aspect of the show. There's a feeling of emptiness when you finish it, I'm sure. But the good news is that it's sometimes even BETTER when you re-watch it. You pick up on little easter eggs and foreshadowing that you wouldn't have caught on the first watch. If you're like me, you can watch it five times over and still catch something new in almost every episode. Look forward to your HotD reactions!

The film, just like the book, has a lot of religious symbolism throughout. When Paul visits the defense attorney for John Coffey (JC), the attorney says there are no records on the prisoner or criminal history. Before he was arrested "He didn't exist." "It's as if he fell from the sky." The beam of light from the cathedral-like windows over the guards desk, John warning the guards when the new prisoner arrives. John recognizing the constellations in the night sky. Darkness to John symbolizes disease, death and evil.

The green mile is up there with one of the most emotional films I've ever watched, even now years and years later it makes me cry like the first time ❤
